Jayme Stevenson, First Selectwoman

post-patchFor over 49 years, Post 53 has provided the town of Darien, CT with emergency medical services, while providing local high school students with an exceptional opportunity to serve their community. The dedicated volunteers of Post 53 man three fully-equipped state-of-the-art ambulances, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Thanks to the generosity of the Ziegler, and McGraw families and the Friends of Post 53, Darien EMS-Post 53 has three new ambulances.  On Sunday, September 23rd, the three new ambulances were christened at a ceremony that included the families as well as state and local dignitaries.
